How to use it

  1. Name the competitor and how they position themselves.
  2. List where they beat you and where you beat them, one per line.
  3. Add the objections customers raise and your proof points.
  4. Copy or download the battlecard.

Method

The generator structures your input into the standard battlecard sections. Objection answers follow the acknowledge, reframe, prove pattern, pairing each objection with one of your advantages and proof points. Landmine questions turn your advantages into neutral questions for prospects to ask the competitor.

Worked example

Against “Roast Republic”, the objection “they are more famous” is answered with “shorter waiting times” and the proof “4.5 rating from 820 Google reviews”. A landmine question asks how important getting a table without waiting is to the customer.

How to read the result

Edit the generated answers into your team's natural voice and remove anything you cannot prove. Review battlecards monthly.

Limitations

  • The output is only as accurate as your input.
  • Never include claims about competitors you cannot verify.
  • For data-driven battlecards built from scores, prices and reviews, use the workspace.

Questions

How long should a battlecard be?
One page. If it needs scrolling during a call, it is too long.
Should battlecards criticise competitors?
No. Acknowledge their strengths and let landmine questions reveal weaknesses.
Who should use them?
Anyone who answers “why you instead of them?”: sales, support, reception and founders.
