These terms govern your use of the FindRivals website, workspace and tools (the "Service"), operated by FindRivals. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
FindRivals provides tools to find, organise and analyse information about competitors that you collect or enter, and educational content about competitive analysis. The Service is provided for general business planning and information.
2. Your content and data
You keep all rights to the data you enter. Projects are stored in your browser; you are responsible for backing them up with Export. You confirm that you have the right to use any data you enter and that you will not enter personal data about others unless you are allowed to.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break any law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- use the Service or research links to collect personal data about individuals without a lawful basis;
- make false or misleading statements about competitors based on the Service's output;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- misuse AI features, including by entering content intended to generate unlawful, defamatory or harmful output.
4. No professional advice; accuracy
Scores, estimates, suggestions and AI-generated text are tools to support your judgement. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Competitor suggestions from the directory or AI may be incomplete or outdated; verify them. Exchange rates and third-party data may be delayed or inaccurate. You are responsible for decisions you make using the Service.
5. Third-party links and services
The Service links to third-party websites (search engines, marketplaces, ad libraries, data providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms.
6. Paid plans
If we offer paid subscriptions, prices, features and billing terms will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are handled under our refund policy. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
7. Intellectual property
The Service's software, design, text and brand belong to FindRivals or its licensors. You may use the Service and share outputs you create (reports, battlecards, charts) for your business purposes. You may quote our guides with attribution and a link.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We try to give notice of significant changes.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindRivals is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
